How to add a video to a Poshmark listing

Updated October 15, 2026 · 2 min read · by the SellerSlides team

Poshmark lets you add one video to each listing, up to 15 seconds long. You add it in the Poshmark app when you create a listing or edit an existing one, and new listing videos also show in your Posh Stories. Here's how to add one, what to put in it, and how to make one from the photos you already took.

Steps: add a video in the Poshmark app

  1. Open the Poshmark app and start a new listing, or open one of your listings and choose Edit.
  2. In the photos section at the top, choose the option to add a video. You can record one or pick a video from your phone's camera roll.
  3. If the video runs longer than 15 seconds, trim it to 15 seconds or less.
  4. Save the listing (or tap Next and list it). The video appears on the listing, and Poshmark shares it to your Posh Stories.

What to show in 15 seconds

  • Open on the whole item for the first second or two, so buyers know what they're looking at.
  • Show what photos can't: how a fabric moves, the fit when worn, hardware, soles, and any flaw you mention in the listing.
  • Say or caption the essentials: brand, size, condition and price. Captions matter because many people scroll with the sound off.
  • End with a reason to act: "Bundle and save", "Price drop today" or "Offers welcome".

No video? Make one from your listing photos

Most sellers already have good photos and no time to film. SellerSlides turns a Poshmark listing into a narrated video in about a minute: type your closet name, pick a listing, and an AI script (written from your listing and checked against it), a natural voice and captions are added. Choose the 15 seconds length and everything is timed to stay under Poshmark's limit.

If your video isn't showing

  • Too long: trim it to 15 seconds or less and add it again.
  • Still processing: give it a few minutes after saving, then reopen the listing.
  • Old app version: update the Poshmark app and try again.
  • Wrong listing: each listing holds one video, so adding a new one replaces the old one.
