eBay listing video maker: make videos from your item photos

Updated October 15, 2026 · 2 min read · by the SellerSlides team

SellerSlides makes narrated videos of your eBay items for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and the listing itself. Add your photos and a few details, pick a look, and an AI script, a natural voice and captions are added in about a minute. End on a QR code that opens your listing. No filming and no editing.

How it works for eBay sellers

  1. Add your item. eBay doesn't let apps read its listings, so you add your photos and a few details: title, brand, size or condition, and price. It takes about a minute, and you can paste your listing link so the QR code opens it.
  2. Pick a look and a voice. 9 looks (Editorial, Pop, Luxe, Minimal, Streetwear, Y2K, Seasonal, Neon Night and Varsity), 18 natural voices, or captions-only. Previews are free.
  3. Pick the size. Square 1:1 suits the listing itself; vertical 9:16 is for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
  4. Export and post. Save it to your phone or computer. The ending names eBay: a QR code that opens your listing, "Find me on eBay", "Comment a word" or "Link in bio".

What eBay allows for listing videos

According to eBay's help page, you can add one video per listing, as an MP4 of up to 150 MB, ideally a minute or less. Listings with variations don't support videos, YouTube links aren't accepted, and eBay reviews each video before it appears (usually within 48 hours). Seller Hub users upload in a web browser.

The full steps are in our guide to adding a video to an eBay listing.

Why make videos of your eBay items

  • More eyes on your listings. Short vertical videos reach buyers on TikTok, Reels and Shorts who would never search eBay for your item.
  • Buyers see the item properly. A narrated walk-through of the photos, with the condition and price said out loud, answers questions before they're asked.
  • A direct path to buy. The QR code ending opens the exact listing.

What it costs

Start with 3 free videos, no credit card. Then buy a pack once: 50 videos for $9.99, 100 for $17.99 or 500 for $69.99. No subscription, credits never expire, previews are free, and failed videos refund their credit automatically.

Questions resellers ask

Can SellerSlides read my eBay listing from a link?

No. eBay doesn't let apps read its listings, so you add your photos and a few details (about a minute). Pasting the link still lets the QR code open your listing.

What size should an eBay listing video be?

eBay accepts MP4 files up to 150 MB and suggests a minute or less. Square 1:1 suits the listing; vertical 9:16 is best for TikTok, Reels and Shorts.

Is eBay's AI video tool still available?

eBay paused its AI video tool for sellers in October 2025, according to Value Added Resource. Check Seller Hub for its current status.

Does it work for other marketplaces?

Yes. Poshmark closets import in one go, Vinted and most online shops fill in from a link, and Etsy, Mercari, Depop and others work from your photos.
